Alcohol Licensing Review Committee
Created pursuant to Chapter 5.20 of Whitewater Municipal Code to hold hearings concerning revocation, suspension or refusal to issue or renew alcohol licenses or permits, and considers requests for new alcohol permits. The Committee is made up of three Common Council members only.

Board of Review
Created pursuant to Chapter 2.60 of the Whitewater Municipal Code, this committee reviews taxpayer appeals relating to property assessments. The Committee is made up of Council members only.

Board of Zoning Appeals
Created pursuant to Chapter 19.72 of the Whitewater Municipal Code and Chapter 62.23.3(2) of the Wisconsin Statutes. The Board is authorized to hear appeals in matters related to zoning ordinances. This board consists of five members appointed for three year terms with three alternate members.

Community Development Authority
Created pursuant to Charter Ordinance No. 4 and amended by Charter Ordinance 5 of Whitewater Municipal Code. The CDA is responsible for economic development activities in the City. This committee consists of seven members, including two Common Council representatives, one Plan and Architectural Review Board Commission representative and four citizen members. Terms are four years.

Community Involvement & Cable TV Commission
Created pursuant Chapter 2.50.010 of the Whitewater Municipal Code. The purpose of this commission is for advising the City on coordinated community outreach and engagement activities, develop maximum community involvement in use of media, and provide feedback in development of community involvement plans. The Commission consists of nine members, one of which shall be a council member.

Disability Rights Commission
Created pursuant to Chapter 2.46 of Whitewater Municipal Code. This Commission is responsible for hearing grievances of any person with a disability, concerning City actions or inactions. This Commission consists of five members, appointed by the Common Council to serve five year terms.

Equal Opportunities Commission
Created pursuant to Chapter 2.44 of the Whitewater Municipal Code. The Commission is created to improve the quality of life in Whitewater by the elimination of racism and other forms of discrimination in the Whitewater community. The Commission consists of seven members, one being a Common Council member.

Ethics Committee
Created pursuant to Chapter 7.04 of the City of Whitewater Municipal Code. The Ethics Committee reviews ethics complaints and makes recommendations based on each one. This committee consists of five regular members and one alternate member appointed by the Common Council.

Finance Committee
Created pursuant to Chapter 2.47 of the Whitewater Municipal Code. The Committee reviews the City's annual operational budget, making recommendations regarding the the overall financing of city operations. The Committee consists of three Common Council Members only.
