The City of Whitewater wants to thank our residents and businesses for your patience as TDS continues to work to install fiber throughout the City.
The fiber installation process has been broken up into various stages. They have installed the “node” that sends out the signal on Main Street and begun work on the south side from Main Street to Walworth Ave and Elizabeth Street to Franklin Street. Next, they will begin work north of Main Street along Tratt Street.
Work will continue throughout this year and into 2024 as TDS progresses through the City. As areas of the City become live, residents will have the opportunity to select TDS as their provider for Internet, TV, and phone. The new, state-of-the-art fiber network will allow you to enjoy smooth streaming without lag, faster upload and download speeds, enough bandwidth for your all home’s devices, and more reliability for bad weather.
