The Office of the City Manager issues proclamations in the City of Whitewater to recognize and commemorate special occasions, and significant community and individual achievements. The following examples meet the criteria for proclamations:
- Cultural, social, or historic events with significance to the City of Whitewater
- Organizational or individual milestone anniversaries of 10 years or more
- Posthumous recognition
- Academic or Athletic Accomplishment
