Parking Permits
Parking permits for the Summer/Fall period (valid July 1, 2013 through December 31, 2013) will be available for sale at the Whitewater Police Department lobby window, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm starting on Wednesday, May 1, 2013.
WWPD K9 Run/Walk
Grab your running shoes (and leash if you'd like) and join us on Saturday, June 1, 2013 for a run/walk to raise money for the Whitewater Police Department K9 Unit. We will be timing participants "old school style" and awarding prizes instead of medals.
K-9 Unit Fundraising
The Whitewater Police Department is seeking donations for our first ever K-9 unit. With the ever-increasing presence and use of drugs in our community, the property crimes associated with these activities and the impact on our teens and young adults, we feel strongly that the additional proactive step of starting a K-9 Unit will serve Whitewater very well.
Emerald Ash Borer Information
The Emerald Ash Borer (EAB) EAB has been found in close proximity to Whitewater, and according to the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, and Department of Agriculture, a plan of action is strongly recommended to lessen the environmental impact and safety hazards due to the destructive effects of this insect.
