Public Information Meeting

The City of Whitewater will be holding a public meeting to present the reconstruction of the Downtown East Gate Way. The City plans to rebuild the Downtown East Gate Way in 2014. The City Council and staff is requesting the public to review the preliminary design and provide any comments. The Council will be presented the preliminary design at the July 16, 2013 Council meeting for approval and authorization to continue with final design of the project.

K-9 Unit Fundraising

The Whitewater Police Department is seeking donations for our first ever K-9 unit. With the ever-increasing presence and use of drugs in our community, the property crimes associated with these activities and the impact on our teens and young adults, we feel strongly that the additional proactive step of starting a K-9 Unit will serve Whitewater very well.

Emerald Ash Borer Information

The Emerald Ash Borer (EAB) EAB has been found in close proximity to Whitewater, and according to the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, and Department of Agriculture, a plan of action is strongly recommended to lessen the environmental impact and safety hazards due to the destructive effects of this insect.
